I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now

Make Decisions Today That Will Impact Generations Tomorrow

"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."
Biblical Foundation: Proverbs 24:3-4

"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."

Experience is one of life's greatest teachers, but wisdom doesn't have to come only through years of trial and error.

Many people reach the later stages of life wishing they had made different decisions about their finances, careers, relationships, leadership, or spiritual growth. They often look back and wonder what might have been if they had started planning earlier, sought wise counsel, or taken advantage of the opportunities God had placed before them.

This workshop is designed to help participants avoid those regrets.

Drawing from more than four decades of executive leadership, ministry, and personal experience, Mike Weddington shares practical lessons that can help individuals and families make wise decisions today instead of wishing they had known them years from now. Participants are encouraged to think beyond the present and intentionally prepare for the future God is calling them to build.

Throughout the workshop, Mike explains that lasting success rarely happens by accident. Whether the goal is building a stronger family, preparing for retirement, creating generational wealth, or pursuing a meaningful career, every worthwhile accomplishment begins with a clear vision and a practical plan. Participants learn how to identify where they are today, honestly evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and create realistic action steps that move them toward the future they desire.

The workshop also explores practical areas that are often overlooked until it is too late. Mike discusses the importance of investment strategies, retirement planning, trusts, wills, life insurance, financial stewardship, and preparing the next generation for long-term success. He also introduces participants to emerging topics such as Artificial Intelligence and the value of developing a personal Career Compass that helps align gifts, opportunities, and long-term goals. These conversations are presented through a biblical lens that encourages wise stewardship rather than fear or uncertainty.

Participants are challenged to stop allowing fear, comfort, or the opinions of others to limit what God can accomplish through their lives. Instead, they are encouraged to dream boldly, think strategically, and take intentional action. Mike teaches that success is not reserved for a select few. It belongs to those who are willing to pursue growth, remain teachable, and faithfully apply biblical principles throughout every season of life.

This workshop is more than a conversation about looking back. It is a call to move forward with wisdom, purpose, and confidence. Participants leave with practical tools for making better decisions today so they can build stronger families, healthier finances, meaningful careers, and a legacy that impacts generations to come.
